David McMahon

M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. McMahon is a board-certified Northwestern pediatrician on staff at Prentice Women’s Hospital as well as Lurie Children’s Hospital. “Dr. David” grew up in Connecticut, before discovering his love of the Midwest by attending the University of Michigan. He went on to medical school at the University of Connecticut, then completed his residency training at Yale Children’s Hospital. He continued his training at Yale by completing a year as Chief Resident before arriving at WP. “Dr. David” and his wife are thrilled to be moving to the Chicago area now! His clinical interests include childhood allergies, sports medicine, and cardiology with a love for teaching and education. Other interests include hiking, traveling, playing with his nieces and nephews all over Chicago, and anything Michigan-related. Go blue!
