Laura Kauffman

M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Kauffman is a board certified Northwestern pediatrician on staff at Prentice Women's Hospital as well as Lurie Children's Hospital.  "Dr. Laura" grew up in Long Island, NY but loves Chicago's friendly people, gorgeous architecture and beaches! She served as a pediatrician in both Arlington Heights and the Young Family Health Center in Chicago before joining WP. Dr. Laura loves taking her young son to the city's many parks and museums, as well as reading him I Love You Through and Through, her favorite children's book. Her other interests include photography and traveling. Dr. Laura is fluent in Spanish, and is particularly interested in childhood allergies and asthma.
